Feed Them Social – Version 2.4.0 Update

Today we pushed Feed Them Social version 2.4.0

Instagram Feed

This is an exciting update as we have removed the “Convert Instagram ID” button which was broken due to Instagrams recent API Changes and replaced it with a much better method. We have also created a new shortcode attribute called access_token=. This means that you can share multiple Instagram feeds from different people as long as you have access to the instagram account.

 

Facbook Feed

Facebook made some changes to the API that required us to remove the Group Feed and Event List Posts Feed in this recent update. If you are utilizing those feeds on your site or your clients site we suggest removing them so your site does not display error messages.

 

Plugin License Page

We have made some dramatic improvements to the functionality of the plugin license page too. This process is much simpler allowing you to add a license key, save the key and activate it by just clicking the “Save Changes” button.  We’ve also cleaned up the way the keys are saved in your database for better speed and performance.
